Have I mentioned what a pack rat you are? You love keeping odds and ends of just about everything. You keep used glow sticks, all papers from school, broken toys and just about anything else you find! Our deal has been that if you can keep it in a box under your bed, I won't say anything about it. But, the underneath of your bed has quite a disaster lately, so we cleaned under there today. I was really proud of you when you are able to throw away most of what was truly garbage. I really can't blame you for wanting to keep everything, I am exactly the same way. I have a hard time throwing away anything!

You had a book fair at school this week and I was really proud of you this morning when you got your own money out to take to school to buy what you wanted. You didn't even ask me for anything! That's an important lesson that parents want their children to learn! Good job!
You brought home a letter from school today saying you had tested high enough on the school district tests to be considered for the "Talented and Gifted" program. I am so proud of you! I had to answer a questionnaire about some of your habits and traits at home and you will do some further testing at school before we find out for sure if you would be in the program, but I am so proud of you! You have done so well in school this year and you have really excelled in every aspect!

I was worried about Connor on Sunday night because he had a tummy ache all day, so after both you and Connor had fallen asleep in my bed, I put you in your bed and kept Connor with me. But, it turns out that I should have kept you there! About 10:00 you came into my room and threw up all over! :( Poor guy! You only threw up that once and in the morning, you felt OK, so you went to school. But, at about 10:00 that morning, I got a call from the school to come and get you. The secretary at the school thought that you probably had too much Easter candy, but I know it wasn't that because all 3 of us were sick!
So, we had a very lazy day at home with all of sick. We watched movies and ate jello!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with the Jenks' family! We love it when they come to visit from Mountain Home! On Friday night we spent the night at Grandma Packer's house, so we could enjoy all the fun! All the kids had a great time running around outside! After dinner, Grandma had some cupcakes ready for everyone to decorate. There were sprinkles everywhere!
On Saturday Morning, we decorated Easter Eggs! Sometimes, I'm not sure if more of the dye gets on your hands or the eggs!
After the egg decorating, you and Connor were taken up to St. Anthony to practice for the play you are going to be in. Jeni and Mackalya are in a play for the Teton Dam flood. I'm not sure of the name of the play, but Jeni got you and Connor into the play and today was your first practice. You are going to be extras and get to be in a dance with buckets! You are both really excited to be in the play!
Later on Saturday afternoon, Grandma had a big Easter Egg hunt for all the Grandkids! Your color was purple and you got to find 30 purple eggs! There were lots of fun goodies in the eggs! The Easter Bunny also came to our house on Saturday afternoon and you got some bucket stilts, a kite and some yummy candy!
Dressed up in your new Easter clothes! Such handsome boys! I'm so proud of both of you!
We had a great Sunday dinner with the Jenks and Bybees at Grandma's. We sure love being able to spend time with our family!!!

You had a pretty rough day today. As soon as you came home from school, you became upset over a lot of small things and I know it's because you are tired and not getting enough sleep. You have been waking up before 6:00 almost every morning. You do go to sleep each night by 7:30, but I think you need to go to sleep even earlier. It's hard to get you in bed so early, but I don't know what else to do.
We went to your school tonight for a book sale from the library. They were selling old books for $.25 and you and Connor were both were very excited and you found enough of your money to buy 7 books! What really impressed me was that you didn't even ask me to buy you any books. You wanted to buy them with your own money. And what touched my heart was you wanted to buy me a book while were there. You found a Harry Potter book and was about to buy it for me, when I let you know that I already had it. Thank you so much for thinking of me! You always think of me and I am so proud of your tender and loving heart!
Clifford the Big Red Dog was also at the school!

Mommy wasn't feeling very good on Friday, so Jeni took you and Connor on bike ride for a little bit. She sure is good to you two! On Saturday, we met the Bargabos' family in Idaho Falls at Leo's to celebrate Cooper's birthday. We sure have a lot of fun with them!

One of your favorite things to do at home lately has been to get me and Connor and all watch a movie together and then you make a bowl of treats for each of us. You give us whatever you can find in the cupboards - popcorn, cereal, fruit snacks, marshmellows, etc.
For your birthday, Grandma and Grandpa Boorom sent you $25 and you decided that you wanted to buy nun-chucks from Master Laderman. You picked out a wooden set, which makes me a little nervous. In class, you only use foam ones and you really get those nun-chucks flying! I am so worried that you are going to knock yourself in the head!
Your favorite thing to do at school these days is 4-square and you tell me all about how you and your friends play during recess. It sounds like it has become quite a production!
We then went to JcPenney and had both your pictures taken for your birthdays. You're so photogenic and so handsome!
We then went to Grandma's and you and Connor played out in the garden and dug for worms for over an hour! It looked like you were having a lot of fun! Mommy still wasn't feeling very good, so Grandma let you and Connor spend the the night at her house. Grandma brought you back home in time for church on Sunday. You LOVE spending the night at Grandma's and I'm so glad that you were able to do that.

We watched "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang" today. I don't know if you were that impressed by it and I had not seen it since I was pretty little. I had forgotten a lot about it. But, you and Connor were signing the song after it ended! Another nice Spring day, so we rode bikes again for a little bit tonight. You and Connor love it and make a race track out in the parking lot and in Jeni's drive way!
I think school is starting to wear on you a little bit. You're tired of doing homework every night and you tell me that you are already know all of the stuff. I think you must have Spring fever! But, Summer is right around the corner!

Karate day! You really have a great desire to be helpful and you show this at Karate. When Master Laderman has the class line up, you always help the younger kids get to where they need to be. You also help them count when Master Laderman has the class count out loud. You have excelled so much in Karate! You know all the words in Korean that Master Laderman quizzes you on and you can say all the pledges without any help. It is really fun to watch you!

I'm not sure why, but you did not have a good day! We walked home from school today and you tripped and hurt your ankle and then you were just sad and tired the rest of the day. When I asked what was wrong, you told me that you were just tired and didn't know what was wrong. Sometimes I worry that you are thinking about a millions different things in that cute, little head of yours!
Today was the nicest day we have had this Spring, so we were outside riding bikes and you thought that a bee had landed on you. Last summer, you did get stung on 3 different occasions, so I don't blame you for being cautious of bees, but you are petrified. You are honestly frozen with fear of them. It breaks my heart and I don't know how to help you.

For Family Home Evening tonight, we watched a couple of Mormon Messages online. One of them talked about Jesus and how he died for us. Very seriously and with a quivering lip and tears in your eyes, you turned to me and asked, "How can I know that Jesus is true"? My heart was overwhelmed with your innocence and your faith. You have the greatest desire to be good. You are naturally good-hearted and kind. You amaze me and I am so humbled to be your mother. I am honored to be the one to guide you on your journey. I shared James 1:5 with you and talked about how you can ask Heavenly Father anything you want to know. So, in your prayer tonight, you asked Heavenly Father to help you know that Jesus is true.
We watched General Conference this weekend and once again you amazed me. You received a worksheet from Primary last week that had all of the General Authorities and you could write down what their talks were all on. Saturday morning, you sat in front of the computer and listened very intently to the talks. You wrote down the words you knew were important. My heart was over-filled as I watched you. You watched most of conference on Saturday. Sunday was a little tougher for you to sit still, but you still listened to all of the General Authorities. You even asked me how to become a General Authority.
I believe that you destined for greatness. Your heart is kind, you are caring and unselfish. I could not be more proud!
